Things to Consider Before Going Green
A trend that has built up a lot of support, and is likely to become even bigger in the future, is focusing on improving the environment and being sure your company is not hurting nature. There are several businesses set up that take a traditional business and change the focus to be purely about improving the environment, or something else to help nature.
All of their advertising has a focus on how they are helping the environment. If they print posters you can be certain they will mention something about nature, just as if they are handing out brochures they will give a lot of attention to their nature friendly practices.
Consider the rise in meat products made from humanly treated animals, or other companies who emphasize that the production of their products is not hurting anything. The question has to be posed whether or not such a path will be effective for your company as well.
Before you make any changes there are some things to consider for your company to be certain you are making the right decision.
First find out if your customers are interested in such a change. Pay attention to the other companies in your area, along with the other companies your customers shop at. Have they started to move towards the green companies, or do they show no interest either way?
If your customers are taking interest in green companies than the next thing you have to do is be certain you advertise the right way to boost up your nature friendly ways. One tactic is to be certain that the way you are environmentally friendly is very transparent.
The first thing this does is help show people exactly what you are doing and how you are helping. The second thing it does is prove that you are doing what you say. Some people are going to be skeptical if they do not actually see how the company is helping, so be certain anyone can easily see what you are doing to contribute.
Next, make sure that your advertising helps to empower your customers as well. In poster printing, be certain that they not only say what you are doing to help, but encourages your customers to help as well. Each time they buy something from your company they are helping to improve the world around them, or list other things they can do on their own to help as well.
Now you are embracing the culture, and encouraging your customers to become part of the culture as well. This will create a stronger bond between you and your customers, and keep your business going strong.
Going green can be a great way to keep your sales strong and improve your bond with your customers, but that is only if you happen to be in an industry where people care about something like that. Be sure you know all the facts before you make any changes to be certain your company is doing exactly what it needs to.

Media has started to ask why the most famous advocate of things green remains mute on the growing controversy?
Has Al Gore retreated to the darkness of obscurity he so richly deserves?
You Can Call Him Al … But Al Won’t Call You Back
By Gene J. Koprowski – FOXNews.com
Al Gore won a Nobel Prize and an Oscar for his film, An Inconvenient Truth. But in the last three months, as global warming has gone from a scientific near-certitude to the subject of satire, Gore — the public face of global warming — has been mum on the topic.
Al Gore won a Nobel Prize and an Oscar for his film, An Inconvenient Truth. But in the last three months, as global warming has gone from a scientific near-certitude to the subject of satire, Gore — the public face of global warming — has been silent on the topic.
The former vice president apparently finds it inconvenient even to answer calls to testify before the U.S. Senate. You can call him Al . . . but he won’t call back.
On Tuesday, Oklahoma Sen. James Inhofe — a prominent skeptic of global warming theory and the Republican leader of the Senate’s Environment and Public Works Committee — issued a request for Gore to come testify on global warming. In an interview with FoxNews.com, Inhofe said he wants Gore to appear because "it will be interesting to ask him on what science he based his movie," a film the senator considers "science fiction."
Gore has yet to respond, but that didn’t prevent him from causing a stir at Apple’s shareholder meeting Thursday. According to CNET, Gore was seated in the first row while several stockholders bashed his high-profile views on climate change. One reportedly said Gore "has become a laughingstock. The glaciers have not melted."
Gore did not reply, and he has not commented on his blog or Twitter feed.

Silly. The journals are filled with the research. There is no scientist who doubts it. Al Gore doesn’t matter. This rant is silly, nonsensical and ignorant. People with no education continue to talk about Al Gore; people who pay attention to the science talk about the science.

Quote from Baccheus above "people with no education quote Al Gore"
Silly statement. The man was that much a symbol of the global warming movement he was awarded a joint Nobel prize together with the IPCC – he’d have to be joined at the hip to them to be any closer.
It is perfectly legitimate, if somewhat restricted, to discuss Al Gore and his contribution to the debate. Al Gore has a science degree (so i am led to believe) and was tutored by one of the early leading lights of global warming theory. If he has misrepresented it, then HE is to blame, not those who see through his machinations.
Like a rat from a sinking ship, he will be scuttling away from global warming, even as we speak.

Baccheus "Al Gore doesn’t matter", your comment is like a Muscular Dystrophy patient saying Jerry Lewis doesn’t matter.
While "I" agree that Al Gore doesn’t matter, to make such a claim about one of your leaders is not something I’d expect from a zealot. However, it would be ignorant and silly to ignore a guy who created a movie, that won a Nobel Prize and an Oscar, who has has a flock of folks giving his "we’re destroying the planet let me show you how to make money from it" speeches.

Baccheus: "talk about the science."
I agree. Al Gore has nothing further to add. He pulls no weight with the skeptics. The only way to convince skeptics is to talk about the science. The problem is that the data has not cooperated.
